“Enjoyed my stay at Acorns guesthouse. Lovely welcome on arrival, comfortable room with a great breakfast. Hosts were friendly and helpful with anything needed.
Close to nearby shops (walkable) or drivable to next town. Enjoyed my stay was great value :D”

“What a lovely stay at Newberry Beach Lodge. The property itself is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!”

“1st thing this isnt in Ilfracombe its combe martin which had hardly anything in it, so very misleading on hotels.com, ok, it was just a nights stop to break the trip up, wish we had knew it was a carvery as even though we was stopping there they was fully booked and couldnt fit us in, which i thought was bad service because surely they could of called us to offer us this knowing we was staying there the night, instead we had to go looking for food elsewhere and in combe martin there isnt much……

“Amazing stay. Originally booked for one night wanted to stay the second and they arranged a spare room so we could stay. Really friendly owners, nothing was any trouble for them. Made us feel very welcome, very clean and well decorated rooms. Would happily stay again without any thought. Loved our stay at Lion House”
