"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible. "We loved absolutely everything about our stay in Cortona! Samantha and Alen were great communicators and made the check in easy. The apartment is perfection! From the tall, shuttered windows, beautiful tiled floors, high ceilings and amazing terrace, it was amazing!! The location couldn’t have been better and the views….. Even though I didn’t really use it, the kitchen was well stocked. All in all- wow!! We didn’t want to leave and hope to be back."

"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"

"Where to even begin? We loved everything about our stay. Stefania was wonderful, and responsive to our many questions before we even arrived. Upon arrival, it felt like a dream. The Villa is beautiful, private, and expansive. The property is huge, with lots of olive trees, fig trees, and places for the kids to play and explore. And not to mention the stunning pool, which overlooks the most incredible views of Cortona. We were pleased to find a ping pong table, and just absolutely loved the pool...

"We spent wonderful week there. The hosts are very welcome and ready to give you any help you need. The place is quiet and there is beautiful panorama from the taras. The house is comfortable, clean and cosy. The jacuzzi is also amazing thing on top of it. It's a good base for visiting many places in Umbria. It's possible to get from the house to provincionale road in 7 minutes."

"Great campsite, beautiful location and not crowded. Lovely pool, good playground and beautiful beach and lakeside area. Port at 1 minute walk with ferries to Isola Maggiore, Passignano and Castiglione. Tuoro train station at 5 minutes walk, so Perugia and Arezzo at 30 minutes. Albeit few trains stop at Tuoro. Two supermarkets at 10 minutes walk. Staff were brilliant; hard to persuade the children to leave the campsite. Overall, excellent and would consider going again! "

"We needed lots of bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, and options for relaxation or activity. This property checked all boxes. Management was professional and gracious. Guido recommended, at our request, a chef for meal delivery and for a cooking class. Edoardo and his team, Josette and Fabrizio, made an otherwise fabulous stay even better. The photos of the property, particularly vistas, patios, and pools do not do it justice. Truly a magnificent property!"

Lovely hotel in Perugia
"This is a lovely upscale hotel in Perugia city center. Walkable to tons of shopping and restaurants. There was a medevil parade going on when we arrived so we were unable to drive up to the hotel. The walk to get there was long and incredibly steep so we were unable to get our luggage in until later in the evening. Oscar at the front desk was very kind to a slightly hot and irritated guest (me!) and made the situation so much easier. We ended up very much enjoying the parade and although it was a slight inconvenience was no reflection on the hotel. There is a very cool underground pool and sauna. We had it to ourselves the entire time & it’s a don’t miss!! So cool & nice to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was very nice, a ton of options and great service. Definitely recommend! "
