Valentine's weekend visit to Woodridge

My partner and I were looking for a nice quiet, private, weekend trip out of the city. We really enjoyed the stay. The cabin was wonderful, cozy, and warm. Overall, the cleanliness was good. We really appreciated the hottub and enjoyed warming up when it was under 20 below. The bed was nice and cozy. Woodridge doesnt have a lot activites or things to do, but we were quite content to stay inside and enjoy some hot drinks, movies and each other's company. Especially with it being so cold. Would love to come and visit again for another cozy retreat.

In the middle of beautiful nowhere

Log cabin with 2 bed rooms and an open plan large kitchen-dinning room-living room with 87 inch TV and Wifi. A real home away from home. Immaculate with everything but the food! Clean sheets, towels, freshly made bed. BBQ and relaxing jicuzzi. Location best suited for ATV riding, hunting and snow mobiles. The area has terrific potential for hiking, from jack pine forests to untilled prairie, which could be better exploited.

Great experience

It was our first time in Canada. We enjoyed the cabin so much. It was in a beautiful area. The hot tub, fire pit, and smoker for steaks were all great. The little town of Woodridge was great as well. I hope to make it back one day to the same spot.

We had a very good stay. A few small things were a little bit frustrating and would need some TLC. Two kitchen cabinet doors were falling off, multiple light bulbs were burnt out and toilet paper roll holder was missing. These were very small things that did not keep us from having a great time. Thank You

X Country Ski Getaway

We had a nice getaway. Beautiful quiet location. I am a sucker for a hot tub looking into the woods. This place has a great smoker BBQ and back deck area. Our communication was not excellent, but to be fair, it was really right over the Christmas holidays. Know that if there are 4 in your party, one person will be on a cot, or futon. Our host Anna was friendly, and kind. It’s a short drive to some really nice, but challenging Cross Country ski trails.
