"An overall wonderful place to stay. Room was clean, beds were comfortable however there were old stains across the carpet but otherwise the room itself was clean and comfortable. The morning staff in the downstairs restaurant were very friendly and provided a wonderful service and delicious breakfast. Our only major complaint is the walls are thin. You can here next room conversations, babies crying, etc. The overall hotel and view of the river is fery nice as is the quaint town it rests in."
"Had an absolutely amazing time here! Jody was very prompt with responding to any questions we had during the duration of our stay. The house was so perfect. 5 Stars!!"

"The house was big, comfortable, and beautiful—especially the swimming pool, which we had a lot of fun with. The owner was very nice and communicated well. We originally booked the house for the weekend of August 1, but the owner told us it wasn’t available for that weekend and offered a 10% discount if we moved to another date. We agreed, and we’re glad we did—it turned out to be a wonderful stay.If I had to point out a couple of things I wasn’t fully satisfied with, the air pot and microwave weren’t clean, so we had to wash them ourselves before using them. Also, the cabinet at the corner of the kitchen bar had a sharp edge, and one of my friends accidentally hit her head on it while picking something up. I’d suggest the owner fix that to prevent anyone else from getting hurt."

"We spent a wonderful weekend here with friends. There were three couples, and it was the perfect set up because each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house was beautifully furnished, and the grounds were well landscaped. It was so peaceful and quiet outside. As soon as we walked in it felt like a vacation house. The kitchen was well appointed, and we found everything we needed. The dining room table sat six of us with room to spare and was the perfect size for a game night as well. We cooked together for some meals and went out for dinner one night and brunch one morning. We enjoyed both the outside seating on the back patio and the rocking bench on the front porch. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool (some of us too cool) in the heat of summer. The house was a short drive to Athens, Coxsakie, and Catskill. There is a lovely river walk in Coxsakie which we enjoyed after our dinner out. Our one complaint was that the descriptions on Vrbo led us to believe that there was a water view from the house, which there was not, although it was only a short walk down to a small beach. Overall, it was a lovely weekend with friends."
