"The property is very nice and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the heated plunge pool many times during our stay. Kris was very responsive to any of our questions. The property is located within a few miles of numerous hikes. The area is quiet in the off season, so restaurant selection was a bit limited, but a great BBQ place is next door."

"My daughter and I stayed at Carl’s place for a few days to see the eclipse. The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. A car accident had actually knocked out power to the whole town just before we showed up, but the place has a generator so we still had everything! cabin is a10 minute walk from town which was really fun to explore! "We've stayed here before and LOVED the screened in porch - this "cabin" is always accommodating and comfortable, very clean as well. We did run out of propane for the firepit, but did at least get to enjoy it for two nights - the beds are comfortable and the living room as well - kitchen well stocked. Close to everything - we will definitely be renting again."
