When I first walked in my room, I smelled a strong terrible musty smell. A day later I found that I was coming from the floor near the A/C vent. The front desk clerk apologized and changed my room the second day. It took a while because the clerk said the hotel was fully booked. That smell stayed with me the entire time. When I left the hotel a few days later. I noticed that my rate had been increased when they changed my room. I bought it to clerk’s attention, and she advised that she would let the manager know. I called the manager when I returned home. I left my information with the clerk, and was told I would be contacted. It has been a week and no one has contacted me. I’m very disappointed.

These are very nice lodgings for a rather remote area in Alabama. The motel is safe, quiet, and comfortable. I really enjoyed the shower (very up to date).

My room had not been cleaned. Upholstered furniture was badly stained. Front desk clerk was very polite and changed me to another room. The room he changed me to was not clean. There were corn chips on the floor at the door. Hair on bathroom floor and garbage under the nightstand. The bed linen however appeared to be clean. I cleaned the flat surfaces . I cleaned the floors. Went down for toilet paper and stayed for the one night as planned. The tv did not work and most of the lights were out. Not a great experience!
