“The communication from the hotel was excellent, and accessing the room later in the day via the key box was no problem at all. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and shops. The room was clean, though definitely a bit tired. The carpets were grubby, and the wallpaper could use some attention. Still, for the price, it was perfectly adequate. It’s unclear whether rooms are let on a longer-term basis, but it seemed that way. Sadly, our neighbour was audibly upset and sobbed……

“Waste of my time submitting a review you so r post? Hotels.com? A waste of time.Turned up at our hotel and the entry code didn’t work. Because someone had changed the lock. Rang the number given on the email and spoke to a very unhelpful man who said he couldn’t do anything for me unless I had an eight figure code which I had to get from Hotel.com. I tried searching the emails while he was on the line but had no 4G coverage so couldn’t open the attachments. Rang the given number again twice and……

“On arrival we were warmly greeted. We were given a surprise upgrade to a beautiful suite of rooms, all decorated in the art deco style. All the staff here are genuinely helpful, curteous & approachable. We have been here several times, at different times of the year. We love being near the sea. The downside is the actual town itself, which has deteriorated over the past few years. This will not deter us from returning to this comfortable home from home hotel.”

“This hotel is great! Jean and her staff run a great place and it is ideally situated just a short walk from Great Yarmouth town center. The breakfast is great, with a lot of choice and is of great quality. The rooms and beds are both clean and comfy, offering a great place to relax when not out and about. And, the hotel is spotless, with a great living room to relax if if you prefer that to sitting in the bedroom during the day. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for somewhere in the……
