Chez Eaux de Vie - Beautiful newly converted barn for 2 - overlooking vineyards!

Welcome to Chez Eaux de Vie situated very close (4kms) to Pons, in the beautiful Charente Maritime region of South West France. This private, spacious gite has 1 large bedroom with king bed and adjoining full bathroom.
The gite overlooks vineyards making it the perfect place to unwind and relax for that romantic getaway. The property is set on the grounds of a Maison de Maitre, with panoramic views and on the edge of a small traditional viticulturist commune. In the distance opposite, the little hamlet of Avy is lit up at night and seen from your terrace. Every need is taken care of in the gites including top quality bedlinen and towels; a gas bbq plancha; beautiful views and a heated salt-water pool that is cleaned by the owners every morning …. And not forgetting WiFi! You just need to get here, disconnect and unwind.

Cosy and relaxing summer stay, exploring Charente and Cognac

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the way Natalie and Jamie looked after us. The accomodation was spot on for a family summer break, quietly overlooking vineyards, and well located to explore the central Charente and Cognac region. Day trips to Bordeaux and its surrounding wine regions, as well as to the La Rochelle and Il de Re and Il d'Oleron were easy to reach. Nearer towns of Saintes, Royan, Cognac and Jonzac completed a wonderful summer holiday. Thanks Jamie and Natalie for all. See you soon hopefully!
