“We had a fabulous week - we were 9 adults. Location was great - 5 minute drive up the hill to Cortona and 5 minute drive to grocery store and train station in Camucia. The property is spacious the garden is great. Note that 3 bedrooms are in an attached annex and 5 bedrooms in the main house. We had lovely dinners in the kitchen dining room every night. The kitchen is wells stocked with 2 big fridges and everything you need. And the hosts organized a chef for a celebratory night which was……

“Wow!!!. I wish there was some way to rate this property with more than 5 stars. Everything was exceptional! The restored centuries-old farmhouse was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. Very well apportioned. The grounds were private and engaging. The location (just minutes’ drive from the historical Cortona city center) was ideal. The hosts were charming and communicative - struck a perfect balance between being available and responsive, yet respectful of our privacy. Thank you Stefania……

“Amazing spot. Cortona is lovely, and this spot right outside the main city was so comfortable. Excellent home base from which to explore Tuscany. Amazing pastry and coffee shop just down the street, as well as a supermarket and great restaurants very close.The house itself is very spacious and private, felt extremely clean. Perfect spot for us to stay as we explored Tuscany for a few days. Host is excellent communicator. Very flexible with us to accommodate our needs for arrival and checkout.……

“Our family went on an amazing vacation and this was one of our favorite stops. The romantic house was perfect for the 8 of us. We absolutely loved it there and loved everything about it. We would highly recommend! *the only thing that I would let travelers know and I don’t know if this is just seasonal. At least in August , definitely bring bug spray, the romantic house does a great job of trying to keep the bugs away because once you leave the property, if you want to go for a walk or……

“The photos for this property does not do it justice. The view from the terrace and the pool is just beyond amazing. Everything is nicely layout. It is an older property but everything felt authentic to the age of the house and the town. The bed where really comfortable, the pool was wonderful as was the garden. Luca, our host, was lovely and even help us out when we could not find milk in the town center. The walk up the hill is not for the faint of heart but if you zig zag up the hill you……

“We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Our Villa had an old world charm that was just what we wanted while staying in Tuscany! The view was AMAZING! Our host was so responsive and gave us a private tour of his Cortona. We took advantage of the hot tub and the private bath that was set up with candles and champagne! Another recommendation would be to have dinner with Luka.( our host) in his home. The food was traditionally prepared and amazing. Overall an wonderful stay!!”

“Das Grundstück ist riesig und es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus, im weitläufigen Garten und am Pool. Das Haus ist eine alte Villa mit tollen alten möbeln und genügend Platz für alle, auch genügend Bäder und Raum zum Rückzug. Die Lage unterhalb von Cortona ist perfekt und Cortona ein schönes altes Städtchen zum bummeln und essen gehen. Auch der Lago di trasimeno ist schnell zu erreichen mit perfektem Strand auch für kleine Kinder.”
