“We really enjoyed our stay, and it is certainly a very attractive five star flat in terms of decor, facilities, views, location, nearby parking (often problematic in Whitby) etc - but it was let down by a rather unpleasant drain smell in the bedroom with the en suite, which we couldn’t get rid of. Everything there looked spotless but didn’t smell good. Also slight anxiety due to the check in process, because we were told full details of accessing the flat would be sent 6 hours prior to check……

Plenty of information of the surrounding areas and clear instructions regarding bins, parking, check in and heating. Brilliant communication from the hosts before stay. “The location was perfect, generally clean and modern property. There was a bit of an odour, not sure if former smoker or recent cooking, but a few candles or room freshers is just needed and the bathroom door was not working and reported it, they said had been reported before us but could not get the parts… had to move to the lounge at times for privacy reasons . Over all good stay and as needed ”
