“Do not book this property unless you’re planning to just drive everyday or sleep. It will be hectic to get a taxi/cab services there if you don’t have a rental suv or truck.. do not rent a car. You probably want make it to the house because the hills are so high n bumpy. You will only slide. This location offers you nothing at all. The view is not amazing you can barely see the ocean because it’s yRdz n yards away from the property. It’s not like waking up open the doors and loom right at……

“Everything was clean and comfortable. The beach that was walking distance was quite nice to hang out at. Our hosts were attentive and responsive. The area was quiet, scenic and a easy drive to restaurants and other beaches.”

“Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,……

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”
