Charming 2-bedroom house with WiFi outside Fleischmanns, NY

This charming artist-owned farmhand house from c. 1900 on 2 acres of beautiful land, is situated just 15 minutes from Belleayre and 40 minutes from Hunter and Plattekill mountains. It's 20 minutes from great fishing on the east branch of the Delaware in Margaretville.

The home is located in a remote bucolic setting near the village of Fleischmanns. The house is perfect for weekend or week long getaways to the Catskills to hike, ski, fish and relax. With a sunny large well equipped kitchen, fabulous garden, stone patio with grill and fire pit, deck and surround porch, it's a wonderful place to cook, host and lounge with a book.

The home is rustic modern, it’s not a hotel or a new development. There’s central heating and a wood stove to supplement the heat but it can be chilly, in winter we bundle up, wear sweaters, slippers, etc. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement. There is no TV, but we have WiFi for watching movies on your computer. We are dog friendly and welcome non-destructive pets!

The house has a full bathroom with a tub upstairs and a half bath downstairs. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and a comfortable daybed in the cactus room – can easily sleep 5. There’s an outdoor shower for warmer months. We would love to host people who can appreciate cute plants and quirky decor.
