Not far to the coast and an hour drive from La Rochelle and Bordeaux with lots of beautiful Vineyards to visit in between, and a 10 minute drive to Saintes with lots of restaurants and bars, as well as good shopping. Brilliant and welcoming hosts with cute dogs, will miss breakfast and coffee by the pool in the mornings.”

The area is full of things to see and do, and the locals are very friendly.Unfortunately and through no fault of the owners, problems with the VRBO App made communication with them very difficult prior to arrival. The helpline was helpful in resolving this, however, and once our holiday was underway, we had a fabulous time.”

They were always available but never intrusive. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean.
