“4 of us stayed in Les Chenes gite, which is a 2 bed cottage with its own huge area of garden, outside pergola, and a gentle stream bubbling nearby. Surrounded by trees and grass and birds chirping in the trees, colourful dragonflies and butterflies this was an absolute Eden of peace and calm. “If you are looking for a cozy and quiet place, this is what you choose. You get plenty of bedrooms and plenty of garden space, for kids to explore. The neighbors had two donkeys we could go and talk to, next to our ground. The house got all you need, and is 10 minutes of drive from Falaise.”

“The house is big and sprawling, with beautiful generous bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely comfortable beds and a cozy updated kitchen. I definitely could have used instructions on how to use an induction stove and a convection oven, and the clothes dryer. Having those instructions in English would have been a bonus! I would have liked more kitchen tools as well. Those parts of the house we used were very comfortable, but the living room and large dining room felt somewhat like and afterthought-……
