It was our 1st time in Gulf shores. This condo could have been anywhere and it would be a great place to stay. 2 big bedrooms with separate bathrooms. Amazing view with plenty of space to hang out.. The 2 things that made me apprehensive in the reviews were the elevator being broke and no balcony. As soon as we got there what a relief. The elevator is brand new and the eay the windows open its better than a balcony because there is no handrail to disturb the view and didnt have to worry about my sons goofing off on a balcony. The poolside closet makes going to and from the beach with stuff so easy. Thank you! Thank you! We'll be back!

Edgewater West 93

Good location, right on the beach with pool and easy beach access. Beautiful beach/ocean view. Easy check in and check out. Washer and dryer was a nice perk. A kureg would be a nice addition. Would definitely stay here again.

Edgewater West 93 absolutely exceeded our expectations! The place was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. We were initially worried about having no balcony, but the windows in this unit were amazing! The view was so beautiful and the windows did open so you still can hear the waves crashing. With quick and direct beach access, going to the beach was not an hassle at all. The pool was nice and appeared very clean. Overall this unit was absolutely perfect for our week-long getaway and we would 100% stay here again in the future!

Enjoyable stay

The facility was very clean with a beach front view. No balcony on floors 1-9, only floor 10. Don’t be alarmed if you pull up to Edgewater. Just go two more buildings and and you will be at Edgewater 93. The convenience of the beach was fantastic.

Positive: Beautiful view of the beach out the windows;Easy, quick access to the beach from the condo; Nice, clean pool at ground level;The kitchen was well equipped.Nice to have a washer and dryer.Negative: Our outside storage unit for beach equipment was crammed full of other people's stuff, so we couldn't use it. Had to keep it all in our car and lug it from the parking lot if we wanted to use it. When we complained to Beaches of Alabama, we got no response.Once the elevator stopped working, meaning two 70-year-old people had to climb steps to the ninth floor. When we complained to Beaches of Alabama and asked for some type of monetary compensation, they ignored the request.Although someone must have cleaned the place before we arrived, the dishwasher was FULL of dirty dishes, which we had to wash and put away. For as much as we paid for this condo, this should have been done. And once again, some sort of monetary compensation should have been given back to us. But we receive nothing.Both beds are extremely soft. So, if you like a firm mattress, go somewhere else. Personally, we think they need replacing.

Tranquil

Perfect location. Easy to get to anywhere you want. We were not crowded at all on the beach and enjoyed every minute. The condo was more than comfortable and we enjoyed the entire stay.

What a View

The property was exactly as advertised. Extremely nice and right next to the beach. On the 9th floor with a huge window facing the ocean. Waking up and looking out that window was breathtaking every morning. We even saw dolphins out the window on our 3rdday. We

Honest review

Very much enjoyed this property. Was perfect for my family. Enjoyed the convenience of the downstairs storage for beach toys and how close the walk the beach was. The beach patrol did a good job at keeping people with tents in the back so others could access the beach. Only complaints were that the dryer motor was STRUGGLING and needs replaced and the garbage disposal had all kinds of stuff in it from other guests and it wouldn’t function. Glad the elevators were working. Overall this place is a 10/10 and will definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

This condo was amazing, just as described and the views were spectacular. The location was great and even though we were there during peak season, it was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Edgewater West

When we arrived the elevator was not working and we had to climb 9 flights of stairs with loads of groceries to get to our condo. The room did not have a balcony so we needed to rely on the windows for a view of the ocean. The windows were so dirty on the outside that it was difficult to view the beach.

Vacation 2024

The only issue we had was the elevator wasn’t functioning the night before we left and the morning of our checkout which means we had to carry our belongings down 9 flights of steps with multiple trips to get it all. That was not a good way to end our vacation.

Exactly as pictured

My husband & I have a wonderful time in this VRBO and the area it was located at. Restaurants are handy. Beach is right past the pool so it is easy to go back & forth from beach/pool to condo. Met a lot of people that return to the condo building. Thank you for leaving a vacuum so we could vacuum up the sand every night. Only downside was the elevator. Sometimes it was not working (people didn't follow the rules about holding the door open) so it was a 9 floor walkup. Would rent again if we are in the area.

Highly recommend staying here

It was fantastic. Right in the beach. We would open the windows at night to fall asleep to the waves crashing the beach. The best sleep you can get. Amazing views all the way around. Very short drive to anything you want and need. Or you can choose to walk, that’s how close it was to everything. The storage closet came stocked with all the supplies we happened to forget at home. Beach toys for the littles to play in the sand with. Shade umbrella, beach chairs, sand tent, and floaties for the kids to use in the swimming pool conveniently located right by the pool. Easy to keep you eyes in the kiddos. unit comes stocked with every cooking pan and utensils you can think of. We were able to do a lot of cooking with the windows open and the music playing. 10/10 recommend and we will be back
