Beautiful, Modern Mountain Cabin with beautiful view. Close to ski resorts!!

4 wheel drive , AWD or front wheel drive vehicle may be required in the winter This beautiful mountain cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and plenty of living space. A very modern kitchen includes everything from a brand-new refrigerator to a locally handmade wooden dining table. Wifi capabilities will enhance your interior experience. The grill and fire pit will surely enhance your outdoor experience. Not to mention the view! 14 miles from Blackwater Falls State Park. 20 miles from Canaan Valley ski resort, Timberline Ski resort and White Grass Ski resort. Only a couple miles from Parsons which has a splash park for the kids and lots of trails to hike. Cabin has lots of info for the local trails and restaurants. Tucker county is also a ATV friendly county with lots of one lane roads to ride your Side x Sides. This cabin is a must stay during fall the changing color of the leaves is unbelievable setting on the porch with a small fire out front in the cool fall air.

Probably one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Clean, great location, peaceful, and the host even decorated for the holidays. The only iffy part of the experience was that the water left a bit of a residue, almost like the soap never fully rinsed off when washing your hands. Not really a complaint but if anyone else stays and experiences this know it’s likely just a water softener and not something gross or scary.

Beautiful mountain getaway.

Beautiful home, lovely views, wonderful amenities and very clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be going back. Close to black water falls. The town of Parson is very close by as well. Recommend to all.

Clean, well stocked, just as described. Beautiful views and a small loop of hiking trails right on the property! Responsive host answered all of my questions quickly. 10/10 Would stay here again.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Take the trip to West Virginia! This cabin was perfect for our family! Highly recommend this place for a secluded get away. The views were amazing.

Great little retreat and great host

Just what we were looking for! Stayed at the cabin most of the weekend and just relaxed. Play board games, watched movies, enjoyed our family. Built a fire, played in the snow, just wonderful overall!

Overnight stay for Purple Fiddle

The cabin is brand new and beautiful inside. The photos do not do justice to the interior and surrounding landscape. Our communications with the host before our arrival were prompt, welcoming and informative. Next time we will just be sure to stay longer and enjoy the hiking trail!

Absolutely gorgeous! Has everything you need and the view was amazing. It’s close to popular tourist areas such as Douglas Falls, Blackwater Falls, and Seneca Rocks. It’s super quiet too. The perfect place to relax and getaway.

Mounting Hiking

Very relaxing with beautiful scenery in the hills of West Virginia. The trails on the property provided enjoyable walking. Porch sitting while enjoying morning coffee, we watched the fog rise in the distance from the mountains. We took numerous photos!

Awesome! 5 Stars!

Our family of 5 + our dog give this property and the Host 5 Giant Stars! The cabin is secluded & private but the proximity to local tourist attractions is a very reasonable short drive. This cabin is very new construction, clean, spacious and stocked with the essentials! I highly recommend this particular property and would absolutely book this or another from this host.

Sledding at Bkackwater

Stayed for one night with the family. We were sledding Saturday evening at Blackwater State Park and needed a place close by. Property was really clean. Cute coin, beautiful views. Owner was super responsive. Loved how secluded it was and will definitely recommend.

A perfect home for family adventures

We stayed with our two small children and found everything about the house to be perfect. Our hosts shared detailed instruction for an easy night time arrival. The house was well-lit and warm when we arrived with seasonal decorations, comfortable beds, extra blankets, paper products, and a well-stocked kitchen. It was super clean and conveniently located for a trip to sled at Blackwater Falls State Park. It would also be a great place to stay during warmer weather, with hiking right on the property, nice outdoor sitting areas, and a gorgeous night sky.

Great place for a getaway!

Really enjoyed two nights at this property. It’s very quiet and remote, but only 5 min from town. You might need 4x4 or all wheel drive to get up to the house, but it’s worth the drive for the amazing views. Everything in the house is exactly as listed and the owners even added a Keurig. Beds were comfortable and the well water wasn’t a problem at all. The owner even left bottled water in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again!

Fun getaway in the mountains

This little secluded property was exactly what we were looking for. We had to ask the host a couple questions throughout the stay and he was very attentive. The house sits on a steep hill and they do have well water. Both items we didn’t mind, but I know some other guests may think otherwise. He did supply bottled water for drinking. Location is nice as Parsons is 5mins down the road, just make sure you use Google Maps when the host gives you directions as the Apple Maps didn’t have the correct roadways he described. Make sure to read the hosts directions to the property since it is such a new house! Our dog enjoyed her stay too sniffing out on the hiking trails. Deer are out promptly at sunset so just watch out when taking your dog if they like to chase deer like ours. Overall, great stay!

Property was spectacular, the view was impressive. Everything you need in a home away from home, the area is filled with nature! Many hikes and exploring then back to the house to relax and take in the awesome view. Short ride to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley state parks. Very comfortable accommodations, we travel with our pups at least 2-3 times a year somewhere different and always stay at a VRBO home, this home was o e of the very best!
