Alone at last is goodbye at last!
I will not be renting this place again. Pictures are deceptive as this place is small. Good things: the bed was soft, recliners were comfortable and the hot tub was great! Bathing; too many stairs not really made for anyone who is disabled. The floors were nasty as I had to go buy a swiffer to clean. No rugs anywhere so, I bought one for the kitchen and two for the bathroom. Having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night, is dangerous. The only heat is the fireplace and a unit on the wall that is old. I almost froze to death! It’s not easy finding the place, road is kinda hidden and if you meet anyone along the road makes it hard to get by them. There is no washing machine or dryer. VRBO tells you that they have a coin laundry, which happens to be a laundry mat 3.4 miles in Helen! There is no privacy on the porch where the hot tub is located as there are cabins in front of you. Pots and pans are pathetic along with the utensils. Definitely need replacing all of them. Jacuzzi was leaking so we couldn’t use it. Just an overall depressing week if you ask me!! I couldn’t wait to leave. It’s a shame you spend lots of money and not have a good time. Lesson learned that’s for sure!!

My husband and I stayed at Alone at Last for a 4 day honeymoon and it was amazing. We loved everything about the cabin and the surroundings. The only downfall was that uber wouldnt go that far on the weekend however they do not advertise that it does so it is definitely not a knock on this property just something i think some people might want to know from experience. It was so perfect and we loved every minute of it. We will return for sure!

Amazing!
We absolutely loved our stay here. It was secluded (but not TOO secluded) and it was a nice place to unplug for a while and be able to relax. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the overall coziness and cleanliness of the house. Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect getaway!
This was the perfect place to relax and explore. The property is just as described. Self check in was simple and communication with property management was prompt and professional. The location is beautiful and peaceful. It's close enough to town to enjoy all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. We started our days in the hot tub and ended them there. We would absolutely recommend unwinding here!

It was just OK
The King sized bed was very comfortable. The double recliner was really nice! The Wi-Fi was fast and the Hot Tub was great. Now, for the not so good parts. There were ants in the kitchen. There was only coffee mugs and 2 plastic cups for drinking which were gross. They were stuck to old parchment paper in the cabinets and had to be washed. There was only 1 tiny 2” X4” sponge that was so cheap it fell apart after 1 use. Not a good idea when there’s no dishwasher. There was a coffee make with no coffee filters. By day 2 we finally got some Brought to us from the owners. The drive to the cabin was so rutted out we weren’t able to get an Uber to pick us us, also no GPS will get them there. There is no garden hose near the fire pit. So be careful. There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen just in case. We had 1 log fall out of the fire and almost set the woods on fire, thank god we stomped it out and used water from the hot tub to extinguish it. The AC window unit is Soooo loud. Same for the downstairs mini-split system. The DVD’s they left for us to watch were empty. There is no blinds for the big kitchen window. You can see the neighbors house. Didn’t like that. Overall it wasn’t the worst experience, but def wasn’t worth the price.

Great little cabin!
This was mine and my husbands second stay at this cabin! We love the location it’s just minutes from Helen and right down the road from Anna Ruby Falls. The cabin is cozy and was very clean, the location was quiet. Check in and out was simple and staff reached out to make sure all was well. It’s the perfect little getaway location!

Very cozy little cabin short drive from helen. Very nice to have a jacuzzi in the loft! Two smart tvs that work great and a screened in porch and hot tub. Perfect for a nice weekend getaway.

Super dark and lighting was horrible. Spa did not work until our last day. Spider webs everywhere. The patio was really bad. No essentials. Not even salt. Will never rent a bathroom in 1st floor agin in my life she the bedroom is upstairs. Lesson learned. Heater made annoying noises that we had to turn it off when it was 40 outside. Not coming back.

Very remote, lots of TV stations to watch, some odd quirks that the Roku remote turns air conditioner on/off upstairs. Bed upstairs bathroom downstairs have to be careful getting up in the middle of the night to go. Needs some updates in kitchen, overall a nice place to stay just good prepared
