“Unser Zimmer war proper, gut und pfiffig eingerichtet, die Rezeptionisten waren freundlich, alles in Allem: prima Optimieren könnte man: Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen, deitlich darauf hinweisen, dass das Hotel in einer Fußgängerzone liegt und nicht unter seiner Adresse angesteuert werden kann. Uns hätte das einige Zeit und Nerven erspart.”

“10 out of 10 experience. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station and a few blocks away from the old town. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is well-kept and stylish. Great staff at the front desk as well as the lounge bar area. Rooms are well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Would have loved to have a kettle in the room for a cup of tea, but you can get hot water at the lobby lounge easily. Highly recommended. ”

“A friendly welcome to hotel Caelus, a charming historic building. Comfortable room and good facilities. Nicely set up dining room and good buffet breakfasts. Tongeren old town is lovely with lots of interesting history. Lots of places to eat and drink and great shops.”

“This is in a terrific location. Very close to the Cathedral and many restaurants. We walked to the train station. The rooms are cozy but clean and comfortable. As a note for other American travelers, once in the building, go up the stairs to the automatic check in machine. I’ve not done that before but it worked very well. ”
