Homer Stay

This property was as advertised. Beautiful inside and out! The views are magnificent! Enjoyed the house and the area.

Incredible Views from a Gorgeous Home

Somehow the pictures don't quite do justice to the incredible views from this house. Whether we were sitting in the hot tub or on our deck, it was hard to look away from the view of the Homer spit and the bay. Each room was beautifully decorated with tons of nice touches. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any of our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the halibut we caught out in the bay. Of our three stops in Alaska this was definitely our favorite and we would absolutely come back to Homer and stay here again.

Way More For Your Money

Our family group consisted of six adults, 5 children and a dog. We were welcomed in the driveway when we arrived and were given the keys to the most beautiful house we could have imagined. Each group of our family had it's own large and airy bedroom with it's own bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot (coffee, cream and sugar included) with glasses and dishes. The main kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could need. We just brought our own food and moved in. The pictures in the their website do not do it justice. This place was awesome! We spent a lot of time on the large deck upstairs that gave us a great view of the Homer Spit, the Bay, and the beautiful mountains. Some of our group went on a halibut charter from The Spit one day and the drive was very convenient being only a few minutes away! We had a fish fry that night enjoying the outdoor area including the lawn area and deck with hot tub, large eating area and gas fire table and grill. This property is very clean and well maintained and had everything we could have needed. It had a lot of small little welcoming gestures like a flower in all the bedrooms and a welcoming basket with wine and chocolate.The property manager was readily available to answer our questions and requests. I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked it, but it turned out to be a very awesome surprise. If I am ever back in Alaska in the Homer area, I would book it again, and would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thank you for a very memorable vacation.....and some beautiful pictures!
