“We stayed with our dog for two nights. Mccanns is perfectly located, Tenterden within easy reach. We use the tap room the one night, nice beer & pizza. Challenger is located beside the other other three units right next to the car park overlooking a small field. The unit has good facilities, covering most needs for a comfortable break. Some nice touches, complementary items including milk. Has a massive shower/wet room & seperate bedroom with open access to the lounge/kitchen area. I would say……

“The cabin was beautifully curated and clean. It felt cozy and welcoming as soon as we entered. Pat & Joy were wonderful and friendly - Joy came to greet us when we checked in and made sure we were comfortable. She walked us through the property and told us about how everything worked. The patio and outdoor sofa was lovely for our coffee in the morning sunshine. We will definitely be going back soon. 10/10”

“Our 2nd visit to Rumwold shepherds hut! And it didn’t disappoint, we love the location as it holds a place in our hearts. Attention to detail in the hut is fabulous. We will be back!!!”

“We were looking for a base for a few days away and this fitted the bill well. A couple of previous reviews had commented upon general cleanliness and we found a child’s toy under the dining table when we got there and an odd sock behind the sofa, suggesting the cleaning wasn’t particularly thorough. Otherwise the property had all we needed. ”

“There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. “This little cottage is incredible! Absolutely beautiful setting, well decorated, immaculate condition and has everything you need at hand. The hot tub was perfect! The surprise addition of the homemade bread, butter, milk and eggs was much appreciated. We cannot wait to return ”

“Perfect accommodation for a quiet country getaway, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower & generally very well equipped, clean & maintained to a high standard. We liked the pretty garden. Were slightly concerned on arrival that it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere but were impressed to discover the excellent Jempsons superstore nearby which has lots of local produce & everything you could possibly need. Also, lovely Rye with it's eateries & quirky shops. Will definitely consider a……
