Two common sayings apply to this place: penny wise pound foolish and don't judge the book by its cover, but not in a positive way. By the pictures, the house looks very promising and well appointed. In practice the experience is different. There were safety issues as well as cleanliness and maintenance issues. Starting on the 1st floor, the gate has no lock and the back door has no deadbolt, which together are a huge safety concern. The garage was littered with junk, the countertop in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks with all the stains, and the carpet in the bedroom was stained. On the 2nd floor, there were two broken chairs: one at the bar and one at the dinner table. It was lucky that one of my children sat on the dining chair first instead of my elderly father. The dishwasher had all unwashed dishes and it stank. There was no dishwasher soap provided to turn on the dishwasher either. The pots and pans in the cabinet were dirty with leftover food stuck on them and extremely greasy. No cereal bowls provided. Trash cans did not have any liners. Stove tops and counter tops were dirty with dried food stuck on it. Multiple light bulbs were dead.
You could tell that they decided they had gotten nice appliances and did not have to worry about upkeep at all. They provide only one toilet paper roll per bathroom. On the third floor, one of the bathroom sinks was clogged with hair stuck in the drain. The other bathroom had a broken cabinet door that was a tripping hazard and the shower handle complete came off when turned. The master bedroom again had nasty stains on the carpet. Overall this house does not meet the expectations that you would expect from a superhost. The worst was that we reached out to the owner/management team every single day and never got anyone to come look at our issues or even give a call back.
