“We arrived on Friday evening after a long drive from Scotland and Hillary could not be more welcoming and accommodating! The railway carriage was beautiful on the inside surrounded by a stunning landscape and wildlife which was so bliss. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We would love to stay here again and for even longer next time! ”

“The family and I loved our stay in this lodge. It is a lovely setting on the lake and had everything we needed for a relaxed holiday. It was very spacious with room for all. Phillipa and her team were on hand to help should we need it. In all a lovely successful family holiday we would love to repeat.”

"Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep. "
