“Quintessential lake vacation. Pools were very nice. Billy- from the beach cabana answered all our questions and had great stories. Beach and docks are accessible and fun. Too windy to use one of the various boats available. Breakfast in the restaurant was tasty with friendly servers. Room in the lodge was basic but nice. Great for families or a get away.”

“I was VERY Disappointed that we did not get to check in to our room until after 9 p.m! Then we had to take a different room that was not acessable like we reserved. My Friend has a prosthetic leg so it made it hard to get into the tub to shower. We asked if we could maybe get 1or 2 free nights for a future stay and was told because i booked through Expedia they couldnt do that. ”

“Staff was courteous. The hotel is old. I don't believe there have been updates in years. Having said that, the room was clean. It's just old ~ faucets, light fixtures, furniture, etc. The price is cheap. That's what I was looking for. A cheap place to sleep during hunting season. If you want luxury, this is not the place. If you want cheap accommodations, this is your place. ”

“This place was super cute and you can tell it was recently updated. The room itself is super clean, stocked with all the goods you would find in a larger hotel and check-in/out is quick & easy. It doesn’t seem like it, but this place is walkable to the downtown Aitkin stretch (roughly 30 minute walk). we were able to check out some cute shops and grab a bite from a cute local spot. ”
