“The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. “Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. Most days began with a coffee overlooking the lake, watching the sunrise and the cloud disperse. Beautiful walks from the doorstep and of course a lot of kayaking right from the door. “Our first family holiday with our new born, we really couldn't fault the cottage at all. Location perfect, decorated nicely and even for the age of the property it had largely been refurnished where needed to have everything wanted. “This is our second visit to Three Peaks cottage and it was just as good as our first. Lovely and clean with a well appointed kitchen and beautiful location! The views from the garden are spectacular but if you're too tired from a day on the fells to climb the garden steps then the views from the lounge are just as good.
