We were right in the middle of heavenly village and able to enjoy multiple restaurants, live music, and family activities all without having to load the kids up in a car. The room overlooked the pool which was nice as well. "Most family friendly resort in South Lake Tahoe. From the gondola adjacent location, the pool, hot tubs, day spa, gym, valet, video games for the kids to the nicely appointed rooms, this place has it all. The room was just as advertised with a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, living room with Murphy bed, two fire places and a king size bed. I highly recommend if you have 1 or 2 kids, place is perfect."

"You cannot get closer to the gondola loading. That was amazing. But beware, fresh snow comes with storms. Storms come with winds. Winds put the gondola at Heavenly on hold...A LOT. We were there for 6 days and every day the Gondola was on hold, either partially or closed the entire day. A bit of a bummer for how awesome the location is to that lift. The only options are to go to the California Lodge or Nevada side (Stagecoach/Boulder). Shuttle, Uber or your own car if you have one. Aside...
