"My husband and I frequent Baja several times a year and have stayed all over. This experience was by far the best we’ve had. David and David are exceptional hosts. The place was absolutely stunning. Our dog had a blast. It was quite literally perfection! When I first read the very favorable reviews for this place I wondered how it could be so good. Well now I know. "We had a terrible stay at this hotel. The location is off a dirt road that is poorly lit. Parking is available onsite on a dirt lot. They have yet to finish construction on the property. Our room smelled terribly like a sewer. After coming back from a wedding there was no water available the remainder of my stay and nobody answered my calls. To make matters worse the air conditioner leaked all over the mattress and we were not able to use the bed. The property manger refused to refund my money. "

"The way to get to the place is dirt, you have to be very cautious and slow. They did not respect the reservation of a double room and they gave me a single, they commented that they had problems with Expedia / Oyo, which I do not agree with being the one affected and even so they did not offer any refund for changing rooms or a note of having paid in the place (they only accept cash and they wanted to charge me more than the reservation). The place in general needs cleaning in the common areas...

"Property was very clean. Beds are comfortable. Common area very well taken care of. We did have some issues with the shower drain being clogged which maintenance did their best to resolve. We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend!"
