“At the beginning, we booked 1 night at the hotel. The moment we entered into the house, we were all amazed, and later on joyful. It is a very relaxing and well decorated house with a swimming pool and courtyard. Just like home. So we immediately made a decision that when we came back to La Paz after our diving trip, we stayed here again. The owner is a couple, very nice and kind. The hostess was very warmhearted, helping us to reserve a table at the restaurant, cooking breakfast earlier than……

“Really enjoyed our stay at Marea. It’s a little outside the Malecon area, but has gated entrance with staff. The grounds and facilities are well kept and tidy. Rooms are clean and boutique-style. Love the common area with breakfast bakeries, yogurt and fruit served each morning. It’s really convenient to have pots, pans and kitchen utensils and stove to prep simple things.”

“This is a really wonderful place to stay! It’s right on the sea of Cortez with dreamy, sunrises and sunsets, the staff is lovely and helpful. The food is excellent, and the Palapas are charming with your own little deck and hammock, and they are quite large inside. Also the resort offers excellent excursions like boat and snorkel trips, paddleboards, and kayaks and more. I will definitely return.”
