The property and furniture inside the rooms look a bit dated. However it is clean, the rooms are very spacious, the grounds are pretty, and it's a beach front property with most rooms having an ocean room. There are restaurants and food trucks at walking distance. There's also a large grocery store across the street.

We had an excellent time here. The place was clean and we had beautiful ocean views even from our garden view balcony, the staff was friendly and helpful. There was lots of places to eat within minutes and walking distance. Parking was super easy, nice big parking structure that was safe. We really have nothing but excellent things to say about our experience. We will certainly be staying here again!

I am so glad that I selected this property for our vacation to Maui!!! The grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. Easy access to the beach with showers near the steps. We snorkeled right off the shore from the beach a few steps away from one of the pools and saw so much marine life. Staff was welcoming and kind. The front desk clerk gave us seashell leis when we checked in and also gave me a box of chocolates because I was celebrating my birthday. Any requests for additional towels/ supplies were handled swiftly. The property is walking distance from a food truck park with delicious options. It's also across the street from a small strip mall with a grocery store, and a nail salon where I was able to get my broken nail repaired. We had the 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo with an ocean view. I couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. The view was amazing! There was a balcony off the living room and another off the master bedroom. There was a fully equipped kitchen along with a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The toiletries provided were from Hawaiian tropic and they were fantastic quality. I was a bit confused when booking but AEI manages privately owned condos in the Aston at Kaanapali Shores resort. They contract with the resort so there seemed to be no difference between AEI and Aston. I loved it here and didn't want to leave. If I ever have the pleasure of visiting Maui again, I would definitely choose this property.

The actual property is nice. They do charge you resort fees even though there aren’t that many perks with the fee. Normally when you’re paying fees you get room service. Here you don’t unless you are staying 7 days or more. Which is annoying if you are planning to go into water at all. You also have to call to get towels as they don’t replenish the towels. You pay for printing services, which we didn’t use at all. Also parking is $10 at gate and on your receipt it is $10 something. Staff is lacking customer service in my opinion. They can’t really answer basic questions. Actual room is nice plenty of utensils and items for you to cook, you basically have an apartment. Just wish they had more perks for what you’re paying.

Very clean unit. So spacious. 2 bed & 2 bath came in so handy for the early wake up tours. Beautiful grounds and easy access to the beach! Total resort feel! Plenty of restaurants across the street. Lunch trucks next door.

Lovely property had everything we needed. We had an ocean view, the staff was friendly, it is older but the pools were clean and beautiful with Hawaiian foliage and beach front Kaanapali. Liked that we had kitchen and laundry in our unit. Easy access to the island.

It’s ferret if you have kids. Washer and dryer is inside the room. Beach is 2 minutes walk and 2 big kids pool. Grocery store walkable distance.We loved it.
