"Nicely appointed apartment in central Camborne with the benefit of allocated secure parking. Whilst I did not make use of the cooking facilities, there is everything you need if you do want to cook and there is a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. "The setting was perfect, the description of a woodland retreat was spot on. We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries. "The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"The hotel is fine. Our room looked completely different to the pictures online but we were obviously staying in the dated part. Room was tidy but carpets really old and they could just do with being replaced all together? I think the general hotel could do with a bit of a spruce up. However, lovely staff and the beds are really really comfy"

"A truly lovely place to stay, moments away from Falmouth beach. The staff were wonderful with reception team especially making you feel as if nothing was too much trouble. We were originally placed in an attic room but moved into another (as available) with grace and speed. The hotel is full of nooks and crannies, the bar is impressively well stocked, the food really tasty - across the outlets - and the hydrotherapy session is not too be missed. Genuinely a delight."

"The only thing wrong is that the hotel needs upgrading, there were stains on the carpet in reception, as well as in the bar area, in some of the rooms as well. if you are an older guest or have mobility problems the room that we were in, had a bath, with a shower over but I could not access, no room to sit on the toilet as the basin was too close to the toilet and had a nasty crack in it. No lift to access our room, just a staircase which I have a job to use as I have severe arthritis. My fault I should of asked about disabled facilities."
