It's across the street from a Waffle House. The bed was comfortable. The room was old and dingy with orange walls. The carpet was worn and dirty. The bed linens were clean but had holes in the sheets and blankets. The mattress was hard. The toilet was not firmly affixed to the floor, it wobbled when you sat on it. The room had a damp smell. I had to turn on the heat to get the damp smell out of the air. There were some loud people in the hallway on the night I stayed. The vending machine was broken. In general, I get the impression that these property owners are doing the best they can, but they are struggling to managing this hotel. Oh and of course the cops keeping you up busting the “rental dates”party down the hall. Avoid this place like the plague. I cannot believe hotels.com would allow their clientele to check into a place like this. On arrival the outside appearance was poor, drapes ratty looking,. Inside the room looked as if furnished from Goodwill. Washroom sink was very rusty. 1 towel and flannel per person, no hand towel. I recommend if thinking about this hotel just don't.
