“The check in was quick and easy, the room was superb and plenty big enough with a writing desk, coffee table and chairs and a superb bathroom complete with a bath. I dined in the evening, the food was first class, as was the service. Breakfast was also excellent. One minor criticism is that an omelette was the same price as a full English. I had that as I wasn't hungry enough for a full fry up but didn't want continental. Parking outside is also problematic. There is some short term parking……

"The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
