“A home from home! A tasteful and very welcoming semi-detached cottage that is in a great spot to explore Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. A spacious lounge with open large kitchen area, lots of cooking equipment (but no egg cups) and a lovely wood burner for toasty nights in. All seemed recently decorated (stayed end-Sept '24) and easily could sleep a family/group of eight. Careful parking possible on corner directly outside property, with Cross Foxes pub (serving food + takeaway) around……

“Great little cottage in a very small village. Close to amenities and local shop has everything you need. Waterfall Close by which was a bonus whilst walking the dog. Nearby railway and very picturesque walks. Cottage itself very clean and tidy has a log burner 2 beds 1 large with ample room entry to 2nd through first. Host went above and beyond as wife's birthday and arranged flowers and bubbly for our arrival. Had a great 5 day break and would recommend to everyone wanting a nice quiet time……

“Just a short overnight stay in see concert. Just slept there. Warm inside hut. Bed perfect for one. Hot shower in morning. Woke up by peacocks squawking...fabulous”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“The Corn Store was just as the pictures showed. It’s a pretty Cottage in a peaceful location with many local amenities. We only had a few days but felt we had seen and done a lot. The cottage itself was very comfortable, the dining area sat five of us around the kitchen table and there were plenty of comfy chairs in the sitting area for after supper. We used the garden table on the back terrace for tea one day and it was a real sun trap. The bathroom to bedroom ratio was excellent and all beds……
