Visit Llanrhaeadr waterfall (10 miles), one of the seven wonders of Wales, falling in three stages over a 73-metre cliff. The National Trust’s Chirk Castle (15 miles) is well worth a visit. Discover the pretty market towns of Welshpool (10 miles) with its steam railway, and Oswestry (11 miles), both offering a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants to enjoy.
