Beautiful stay

It had everything we needed for the beach and the bed was comfortable. The a/c kept up and a lot of extras like a toothbrush/shave kits and soaps in the shower. Detergent for the washer/ dishwasher. Paper towel and etc to get you started. Loved the champagne too!! You’ll love this place and very short walk to the beach.

Beach respite

Five days and nights at Cabana 9 restored us after months of work from home..... Being able to soak up sun, hear and feel the waves and take in gorgeous sunsets has us recharged. Great wifi, clean and comfortable unit, just what we needed.

Great Location

Overall we had a great time and enjoyed this property. The one problem we had is that the pull out beds were not useable and the kids had to sleep with us or make a bed out of the couch cushions.

Birthday Treat

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays on Longboat Key, looking for an alternative to Hawaii. We may have found it at Cabana Beach Club. It is located in a secluded area with a short walk to the beach. It’s also near many wonderful restaurants and shopping. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Cute cozy cottage steps from the ocean!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Michaela's beach cabana!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. A very short walk to the ocean and close to lots of wonderful restaurants, bike rentals and kayak rentals. The beach the resort is situated on is so beautiful and very quiet. Lounge chairs available on the beach as well as beach umbrellas in the unit make a beach day super easy! Will definitely be back!

Great location

Perfect location midway between Anna Maria Island and St. Armands and a short half hour drive to downtown Sarasota. A short 50 yard walk to uncrowded white sand beaches with no shortage of lounge chairs. The rental itself was very clean and comfortable with new appliances . The king bed was very comfortable (we didn't use the sofa sleepers) and I enjoyed the patio area for reading. Great restaurants nearby. Don't miss Harry''s, Lazy Lobster, La Norma or Dry Dock for great food. Would definitely consider returning.

The quiet getaway we needed

The property was clean, cozy, and in a quiet neighborhood. The beach was just a minute and half walk from the door, and was always quiet with minimal people. It was the perfect spot for our anniversary and decompression trip. If we wanted to go somewhere for dining, shopping, or other activities, Anna Maria Island or Sarasota were a short drive. As a bonus, one morning, my husband had a dolphin swim within 20 feet of him and show of some of its tricks. Definitely would go back (and hope to).

Loved it!

The cottage was adorable! Very clean which is huge to me. Hop, skip & jump to the beach. Umbrellas, chairs, beach towels…everything you need! The “only” thing I can suggest is to improve the shower door & the knob that adjust the temperature. I will go again if they will have me. I think it’s cuter than the pics!

House worked well

Place was nice. I felt like the title "Directly on the Beach" was a bit misleading. We were looking for a place that opened out to the water and this place did not have that. It is in a complex with about 10 units. This unit was one of the ones further from the water, on the other side of the water from the other buildings. That said, the place was nice and clean. Parking was easy and the location was pretty good. I would stay there again if being on the water wasn't a concern.

A little fudging on listing

The owner chooses to use one picture for her condos. Very deceptive!! It shows a beach view but 10 out of 18 are not. I won't call it a lie, but it's very DECEPTIVE!!

Problems

I asked the owner about being unable to stream TV. I was told "You have a smart tv that has apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu and the like. You have to find an icon that looks like a house on the remote control." When I replied that there was no such icon on either of the remotes and also asked if there was a remote for the older model combined VHS/DVD player, I never received a response; there wasn't any remote but there was a DVD unattached to anything that was just siting on top of the VHS/DVD player. Also the advertised amenities regarding 'minimum 1 day vacancy between guest stays' was demonstrably false, as was the Concierge service. The water pressure was 'variable' to say the least and hot water took forever to appear--randomly. Given the lack of response to the TV remote issue I didn't bother to comment on the daily appearance of ants around the two sinks-kitchen and bathroom. Further, 'wheelchair accessible' is also an issue since the ground floor entrance gives way to a 6 inch rise to the raised kitchen/dining/bathroom area. Further, there is a similar drop from that raised floor into the bedroom--potential for a real disaster after a middle-of-the-night bathroom visit.

Dreamy Beachfront Cabana

We immensely enjoyed our family vacation at The Cabana Beach Club. The property was decorated so lovely and the kitchen had everything we needed to eat in and prepare meals. The white sandy beach and turquoise waters were an absolute dream come true. Our family spent the day snorkeling in the ocean and cooling off in the pool, all just steps from our door front. The only down side to this marvelous place, was the bed. We found the bed to be hard and terribly uncomfortable. My husband actually slept on the couch because it was so bad. We ended up leaving one night early due to not wanting to spend another night on that mattress. We would gladly go back to another cabana with a newer/upgraded mattress though.

Cabana Beach Club

Nice condo with everything you need. My issue was the listing stated that it was “on the beach” which is a bit misleading. To me that suggests you have a nice view of the beach and water. In fact, the property has 3 buildings - 2 of which that is true for, but the building I stayed in was on the road and my view was mainly a parking lot.

February in Paradise

We loved our stay at #9 Cabana Beach Club! It was clean and nicely furnished and only a few steps from the gulf! The location is within walking distance to several area restaurants. We enjoyed riding our bikes thru Longboat and Lido. I would definitely recommend this unit and we do plan to return!Ann Z
