“What a charming place. I just loved it! It is a dream! Lots of green areas, parking is a plus, the place is ancient, but is very well kept! The outside is so charming. The room was like... going back in time! So charming! The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom is great, quite new. Staff is extremely friendly. We had dinner there one night and food is fantastic. Their Chianti wine is so good! And the best was when I was leaving and Signore Antonio spend some precious minutes chatting……

“...You will never want to leave...This hotel and staff are what you would dream to have and not expect from any visit you have at a hotel.
From first arrival we were treated like family and made to feel like we were at a new home we had yet to discover.
Fabio was simply incredible as was the rest of the staff. From making sure we had everything we needed to guiding us through our journey in their magical town.

“We left the train station in Lucca, put in the address of La Luna and had a wonderful short walk, less than a mile into the town of Lucca and to the Hotel La Luna. We were greeted by hotel staff who quickly got us into our rooms, two couples-two rooms. The rooms were nice and would be considered average. The highlight of the hotel is the morning breakfast (included in the fee), an attached bar and lounge and directly across the street, about 60 feet, a very nice restaurant. Please note that……

“Hotel Carignano is a perfect hotel to stay in with their great staff, easy check in, a location that is very amenable to the walled old town Lucca (tip: free parking at Piazzale Don Franco Baroni.
