If you want a quiet, peaceful time and somewhere a little ‘different’ then this place is perfect. Lots of nice walks in the countryside and close to places like Halesworth and Southwold. “We really enjoyed our stay at Rubblestone Cottage. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. A cosy living room with a window that looks over the meadow, which allows you to watch the visiting wildlife. Main bedroom was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food and the owner provides a great list of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The lighting through out is well placed and there are some strategically placed night……

“This little cottage is ideally located opposite a well stocked local shop and close to coast path walks which is particularly handy if you have a dog. It is well equipped and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended.”

The property had everything we need for our stay with our two dogs. Nice size rooms. The kitchen had more utensils than I was expecting. The owner was quick to reply to any queries.”

“We were a little disappointed as we weren’t overlooking river which we obviously misread. The beds were excellent and we enjoyed the quietness of the place. Our dog loved the garden. Nick the owner is brilliant and dealt with a shower problem promptly and was available to ask questions. Would definitely recommend”

“I enjoyed my stay. The spa area was very nicely decorated and luxurious. Highly recommend walking the ‘Trim Trail’ around the golf course if the weather is good. I think one more towel in the bathroom would be ideal because women often want to wrap their hair in a towel when they wash it. ”
