Horrendous rental
The rental was horrendous!!
A walk up (two flights of narrow stairs) with your luggage. Then have to go outside on a roof top to get to your room. The room-incredibly small.
The bed is horrible, no pillows. The bathroom stinks, nasty odor coming from the toilet. The shower, no water pressure. Shower head broken/sprayed @ the wall. Bathroom door didn’t close. No closets, no dresser. Window blinds don’t provide privacy. Anyone out on roof top (especially at night), can see into your room (gaps on side of all of the shades)
Then, the cockroach situation!!
The host states “Yes, they know and the exterminator comes monthly. She will tell you the roaches come from the street”.
The host offered to come clean your room, like my cleanliness is the issue. The house is infested with roaches. So disgusting. The room lost power consistently. My food spoiled twice. The response “don’t use the refrigerator in your room, put your stuff in the main refrigerator”.
Then the house lost power and everything in the main refrigerator had to be tossed out. Days before my rental was up, I escalate roach situation again. Host tells me text building supervisor. Why, I have no idea. I had been communicating with host all along.
