Near-natural house with garden, orchard, sauna, fireplace & free Wi-Fi

The house was built in the 50s of the last century. In 2011 we have completely renovated the house and lovingly restored. A wood-burning fireplace and Larch floors create a cozy atmosphere. The W-LAN can be switched off.

In vegetable garden there are organic herbs and home-grown seasonal vegetables. In late summer / autumn, the pumpkins are harvest fresh. Anyone who wants can get involved with weeding and lawn mowing.
With 2019 we have started a new project: with the acquisition of a 1,500 m2 large meadow, the planting of a scattered meadow with fruit trees from the species conservation program of the "Noah's Ark" is starting. Then 20 trees will be available from July to October with their harvest for our guests.

Bathrooms: with underfloor heating, bath tub, double vanity, infrared sauna, heated towel rail, WC

Living room: with magazines and books to browse, leather couch, regional maps and literature, LED TV (with satellite channels). DVD's in English and German and board games.

Kitchen: ceramic hob (4 fields), refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter and Italian espresso machine), toaster, kettle, soda stream, blender, basic food (spices, vinegar, oil ... in organic quality)

The rent includes the Millstatt Inclusive Card (MIC). The range varies between high and low season. You have free admission to all lake and swimming pools in the region, as well as free admission to some museums and free sea-crossings and toll road. In the village there is "almost" free taxi (1, - per person) by appointment.

Very relaxing holiday
We had a wonderful week in this very comfortable house. It has an outstanding lake view, it was very warm, light and cosy. The host was always available, everything was as described, we did not encounter any difficulties. Overall it was a great stay, we would love to come again! Thank you!

Lovely house with wonderful views.
Very comfortable house. Had everything we needed. Very clean and the beds were comfy. View from terrace over lake was fabulous. Curtains in bedrooms are not v thick so if you're a light sleeper bring an eye mask.

Beautiful house
The house itself is beautiful, as is the view on the lake from the deck. The house has a warm, friendly feeling to it. We loved the kitchen, were we stayed most of the time, but we stayed out of the sitting room due to the lights that we thought to be unwelcoming, too little in number and too bright. The bedrooms were good, roomy and with nice beds. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We missed a separate or extra toliet and would have loved to have a proper shower. Showering in the bathtub without a showercurtain was manageable, but not ideal. Overall we a pleasant stay, not in the last place because of the nice owners that took great care in making sure we had a good start of our stay.

Ferienhaus sehr gut ausgestattet
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen erholsamen Familien Urlaub in Millstatt in dem Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Wir haben Grund um wohl gefühlt und geben dem Ferienhaus volle Punktzahl. Verdunklungsrollos und eine Dusche hätten unser Glück perfekt gemacht. Dies eher als Wunsch gemeint. Aber wie gesagt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Authentic house with stunning view on lake
We stayed in the house as a family with 2 teenage kids. It was very spacious and convenient but especially the terrace with the beautiful view made this house a perfect spot! We arrived in the evening after dark, the entrance of the house was a bit difficult to find but once entered we really enjoyed the location. From the house you can walk down to the lake and village, convenient to reach supermarket, restaurants and the swim area. Franz was a great host and easy communication, the house really has all equipment you can think of. The spacious bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs which was not really a problem but since the authentic wooden stairs are very squeaky, better to avoid toilet visits during the night as it will wake up the whole family 😀 All in all our visit to Millstadt was definately worthwhile and we would visit again if we are planning for Austria! Big thanks to Franz for being such a good host!

Herrliche Zeit
Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche verbracht! Das Haus bietet ALLES was man sich wünscht und braucht, es fehlt absolut nichts. Der Garten und die große Terrasse mit Seeblick sind herrlich! Man kann super Ausflüge unternehmen und im Strandbad Tschinder war es total klasse mit dem Hund!

Wunderschöne Aussicht
Mein Mann und ich haben mit unserem Labrador zwei Wochen in diesem sehr schönen Haus verbracht und den wunderbaren Blick auf den See und die dahinter liegende Berge genossen. Die ökologische Ausrichtung von Haus und Grundstück entspricht genau unserem Geschmack und unserer Lebensweise. Außerdem möchte ich erwähnen, dass Herr Pichorner unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend ist und ihm das Wohl seiner Gäste sehr am Herzen liegt. Ich hatte ihn zwei Tage vor Abreise kontaktiert um ihm unsere geplante Abreisezeit zur besseren Planung mitzuteilen. Dabei erwähnte ich, dass mir Liegestühle gefehlt hätten. Am nächsten Tag hatten wir welche. Hätte ich doch nur früher was gesagt 😃😉 Aufgrund des Wetters waren wir fast nur Wandern und haben leider die Möglichkeiten, die der See bietet gar nicht ausgenutzt. Da werden wir wohl noch einmal wiederkommen „müssen“.

Top eingerichtetes, geräumiges Haus am Nordufer des Millstätters Sees in traumhafter Lage am Hang, daher tolle Aussicht auf den See. Trotzdem See fußläufig gut erreichbar. Restaurants und Supermarkt am Platz. Schönes Seebad. Toll ist die Millstätter Inclusive Card, mit der z.B. der Eintritt in diverse Bäder und die Nutzung von Passstraßen gratis ist! Sehr sympathischer und engagierter Vermieter! Fazit: Keine Wünsche offen. Wenn nochmal Millstatt, dann gerne wieder!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit wunderschöner Aussicht
Es war alles wie erwartet, bzw besser! Es ist ein wirklich schönes Ferienhaus und perfekt für eine 4-köpfige Familie. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief super, jede Frage wurde sofort und immer freundlich beantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einziger Nachteil ist die Lage steil am Berg ohne Parkplatz direkt am Haus (ca. 20 Meter steil bergauf, gefolgt von einem kurzen steilen Abstieg zur Haustür). Diese Lage bot allerdings einen unvergesslich schönen Ausblick auf den Millstätter See. Ich empfehle dieses Ferienhaus gerne!

Sehr schöne Gegend, toller Seeblick
Schönes kleines Häuschen mit tollem Seeblick. Fußweg zum Strandbad mit "voller Ausrüstung" etwas beschwerlich. Der Verkehr unterhalb ist leider recht deutlich zu hören. Küche gut ausgestattet. Im Badezimmer eine tolle Infrarotsauna, dafür leider "nur" eine Badewanne mit Duschmöglichkeit , aber keine Dusche. Sehr netter, bemühter Vermieter. Kurz und gut: Absolut zu empfehlen für Menschen die gerne wandern und die Natur lieben.

Tolle Unterkunft und Umgebung
Wir sind als Familie (4 Erwachsene) mit Kleinkind für eine Woche vom 03.10-10.10.20 angereist und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus gehabt. Auch unser Enkelkind (9 Monate) hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einfach wundervoll und lädt zum Verweilen ein oder auch zum Grillen. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen schönen Urlaubsaufenthalt benötigt. Schön war auch die Nutzung der Kräuter aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Umgebung lädt zu zahlreichen Aktivitäten oder Wanderungen/Ausflügen ein. Das Wetter hatte auch mitgespielt, so dass wir eine Fahrradtour um den Millstätter See machen konnten und eine Wanderung am Weissensee, auch sind wir von der Lammersdorfer Hütte zum Granattor gelaufen. Am Regentag haben wir die Drautalperle (Schwimmbad) in Spittal besucht. Die Kommunikation und Abwicklung mit dem Gastgeber war völlig unproblematisch. Alles in Allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit einer tollen Unterkunft.
