"Ok, my opinion is swayed as this was my first time back in my home town for 30 years. But despite that biased opinion, reception was quick, fuss free and professional. Room was clean, very functional I'd say. (Polite way of saying not a lot there) But clean and comfortable. I guess we're used to tea and coffee facilities in the uk. Food and beer we're great, some staff spoken english but once I bust out the German they really opened up! Superb grounds to wander about in of an evening too. Breakfast was just like and other euro breakfast, no issues. Didnt use the pool so can't comment. Plan on returning"

Downside was the extortionate price they charge for one nights parking in the underground car park. 28 Euros for less than 24 hours parking is really taking a liberty. Bathroom setup with tub & separate shower plus additional toilet room was nice, but with the sofa bed made, there wasn't anywhere to leave our luggage. The kids play area in the lobby, kids' check gift & a large breakfast buffet was very nice extra for the kids. The bar was opened late for the world cup game, which Germany won - definitely a great way to end the day."
