“We came to Michigan from Texas for three weeks, looking for cool weather in August. The cottage was supplied with the necessities. We enjoyed reading or having a glass of wine on the patio while watching the river. It was peaceful on weekdays as we watched the loons, eagles and herons. We also enjoyed watching the boaters, kayakers, and jet skiers on the weekends. The hosts could not have been nicer. They were close if you needed something, but not intrusive.
