The property is two blocks away from all the action, shopping, and major transportation. Trams to get everywhere. Train station is 10 minute walk to travel out of town. Heart of city life. The appartement is fully furnished for vacuuming, washing clothes, drying rack, iron, and complete kitchen for everyday cooking. Light car traffic noise at night. A good pad, in an excellent location. FOB must be swiped at two location to get into the building (feels secure). Unit door has pegs locking into door frame. Very secure also. The appartement is aging. Some of the floor tiles are loose, scratches/marks on the walls, could use new caulk in the shower, outside awning feels like is going to break when you close it. Bed has a foam topper, great if you like it soft. The office was very responsive when we reported a few issues and was addressed promptly. You will get multiple emails to explain how everything works, with videos. Great communication. Keys were simple to get two blocks away. Need to be patient with elevator(lift) as it only fit 2 adults, or one adult with one luggage. Multiple trips to get your luggage in/out. Is the smallest lift I have seen in all my travels in Europe. From front door, about 15 steps to get to the elevator. You are on the fifth(5th), top floor. Felt like everybody in Nice also spoke English, including the office staff. A paradise for bakeries, pastries, coffee shops to enjoy. Monoprix and others minutes away for your supplies/food. Had a great time.
