“Monica was the best, to start we wanted her to make us supper the 1st night but I got back to her late and she had already made plans to attend an olive oil festival at a hamlet a few miles from her Villa. She invited us to attend with her and it was the best way to start out our visit, when you watch tv and see Italy with everyone from the town eating together, it was exactly like that an 8 course meal with all the wine you could drink it was amazing. She was available for everything we needed……

“Rustic farmhouse, very friendly owner, super views. Everything we needed was in the house. Car essential but great for Lucca, Pisa and the coast.”

“The owners gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything very clearly in English. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful large and safe pool, with lots of loungers, although only one umbrella. We used the pizza oven with wood supplied for us and also the barbecue. Sitting in the outdoor dining area with the beautiful view of the lit up pool and the hills beyond was heaven. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our last evening we had a great meal at Bimbotto’s in Vorno, walking……

“A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. The villa was well laid out for a group of 13 of us ranging from 9 to 49 and pretty well equipped including pool inflatables and sun loungers for the lovely infinity pool. Franco was very helpful and hospitable. Only slight criticisms are that the aircon on the top floor is not really……

“Relaxing, peaceful, remote location, which can be easily accessed from Pisa / Florence by car. Fantastic views across the valley. Hosts were great at communicating, before and during the stay. Would recommend for an older family that wants to get away from it all. ”

“The property was excellent for our family group of 4 adult couples. The bedrooms were all spacious with good facilities. The general villa had all the amenities required and had plenty of cooking facilities and utensils. The pool and the view were superb and we had great experiences using the bbq grill and wood fired pizza oven. It is well located for access to local towns and cities. Volterra and Lucca were our favourites but we had a must see morning in Pisa which was very busy as expected.……

“We recieved a warm welcome by Mr. Chiappa, and the place is truly wonderful. The house itself is compact (and the stairs even more so), but large enough for the 4 of us. Everything felt fresh and clean. Mr. Chiappa also provided us with a box full of home grown tomatos, cougettes, cucumbers and herbs. They tasted perfectly.The house is also very well equipped with everything you might need. The road up to the house is narrow, and sometimes (very) steep. Although it gets easier everytime you……

“Es hat uns super gut gefallen und die Vermieterin war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Einzige was uns nicht gefiel waren die vielen Mücken in der Umgebung daher super gut gelöst, dass im FH Fliegengitter angebracht sind. Die Waschmaschine muss mal gecheckt werden diese machte Probleme. Maximal mit 2 Familien zu buchen da nur 2 innenliegende Badezimmer vorhanden sind.”

“Very nice house in the hills of Tuscany. Property is clean, well designed, fully equipped and well maintained with large pool and really great touches for small kids (swings, sandpit). Communication with the owners/ management team was very quick and easyHouse is located in a small village - nearest large town was Lucca (45 mins drive), which is very, beautiful and historic walled city with many restaurants, shops, churches etc. Beaches are also accessible - around 1 hour for us. “Ein tolles Haus, in einer wunderschönen Gegend, es hat einfach alles gepasst.”

“Giacomo was a great host who was there to well is to the property when we arrived. He was on hand if we needed anything and bought us fresh fruit from his garden several times which was delicious. The villa had everything we needed and the pool was great. Location wise, it was a 10 minute car journey to Lucca which we visited several times. There are several restaurants close to the villa including Eva which did amazing ice creams. We really enjoyed our time in Tuscany and the villa. ”

“ Very nice house and the pool was great to have. My wife and I and our 2 teenage boys had a great time. The location is awesome. The location was perfect. The views are the BEST. Just Amazing!! The town center had restaurants and cafes and shops. Of course Gelato. All locals. Close to Luca went the summer Concert Series. Scorpions. The road up is definitely a little bit of a challenge but as long you go slow after a few times you get used to it. ”

“Awesome stay at Casa Dell Aqua : big space, beautiful view, nicely equipped kitchen and near a lot of nice cities. The last 10min of road are very narrow to get up the mountain but it's definitely worth the trip ! Very private, the hosts came for a few checks of the pool and gardening but we never even noticed them.Would totally recommend !”
