Flooded apartment! No assistance provided!
The first night one bedroom was flooded and smelled awful. Spent several hours calling all available numbers including "24 hour" assistance. When we finally got through, no help was offered. By the next afternoon, the wet floors and smell had spread to the living room. Spent another several hours calling for direction and/or assistance. Finally moved to new lodging at a hotel (!). Let VRBO, Belvilla, and check my guest know with numerous messages and emails Response??? "We hope you're enjoying your stay." We were there for one uncomfortable night out of seven nights booked, and we want out rental fees refunded. We have been unable to reach anyone who had authority to authorize this. Also, I suspect most of the glowing reviews are fake, fake, fake.
