“We had a lovely one night stay, the property exterior needs some TLC but the inside was lovely. Staff friendly, clean room, easy late check in. Four of us stayed room 14 lovely spacious and very comfortable. Amazing value for money 😊”

“This was a very old style hotel that had been kept very good order in keepingwith its age our stay was very enjoyable with a lovely swim in the outdoor heated pool, the breakfast in my opinion was faultless lovely good and very well presented with a good choice to choose from we wouldn't hesitate to stay at knoll house again ”
“Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!”
“Really enjoyed our stay here. Pub is beautiful and has plenty of room, lovely garden front and back. Free on site parking and breakfast. We didn’t eat there apart from breakfast but always looked busy with people. Great location to get to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. ”
