Curtains could’ve been maintained better microwave is too small

Overall pleasant stay. If you aren't "tech savvy" be sure to get tutorial on remote controls for your room... overhead fan and light decided to energize at 2am. If you cannot climb stairs, take a hard pass. (This was on me: I didn't realize "not handicap accessible" translated to "no elevator"). The friendly and generous staff more than made up for the bumps we experienced, and the in-house bar/restaurant experience was exquisite. .

Their first floor is a pet only section. At first I kind of liked it but then afterwards, my dog kept barking a lot because of the dogs passing by. That was annoying. I don't know because its a pet room, the room is outdated. The tub needed drainage, and the toilet had stains. On expedia website the rooms seemed new, guess not for pet owners. The really good thing about this hotel, it is one minute away from the slopes.

Disclaimer- I've never stayed in a motel 6 before. So I only had my previous hotel experiences for comparison. I realize that it's not meant to be a 5 star experience. The pros- very well lit exterior, big rooms. Front desk reception was very courteous. Room came with a microwave and mini fridge. The cost of the room was reasonable. The cons- room was not very clean. The floors made my socks turn from white to black. The sheets had black hairs on them. The room was large but lacked anywhere to put clothes, other than an open style desk or a metal bar with a few random hangers. No coffee maker, no hair dryer. There is no housekeeping or restocking of anything during a visit. The parking lot isn't salted or plowed after snow/ice storms.

Parking is across the street. Pretty far to carry your belongings. The turn to get in or out of that lot is very tight. Room was ok. Not very insulated. People's door closing very loudly. The heat was not turned on before we got there and was very cold. Pet friendly but no area for your dog to go. Unless you go across the street to the lot. There is no grass area in sight.
