"Pros: Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Es gab alles, was man bei einem Urlaub mit Kleinkind braucht (Hochstuhl, Kinderbett). Die Loggia war auch ideal. Im Garten Bälle, Schaukeln und eine Nestschaukel. Für größere Kinder Fußballtore und eine Rutsche. Man kann wunderbare Spaziergänge direkt vom Haus aus machen. Ganz in der Nähe ist die Obernsees-Therme, die auch einen tollen Kinderbereich hat."

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich toll! Wir haben uns das Wochenende über sehr wohlgefühlt und den kurzen Weg in die Kulmbacher Altstadt sehr genossen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, verfügt über Toaster, Filterkaffeemaschine, Kapselautomaten, Wasserkocher und alles Geschirr. Im Wohnzimmer finden alle Leute Platz und die Zeit kann gemeinsam bestmöglich genutzt werden. Der Check-in war sehr unkompliziert. Wir haben den Code rechtzeitig zugesendet bekommen und konnten unabhängig ein- und auschecken....

Einzig der kleine Späti direkt gegenüber nervt nachts mit einer grellen Leuchte, die bei jeder Bewegung auf der Straße angeht. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We knew it was an Ibis Budget when we booked so were expecting limited facilities as we have stayed with this chain before, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stay. The room was compact, had facilities to hang clothing but no where to put other clothing this had to remain in the suitcase for the duration of the stay. Bathroom was great, lovely shower with plenty of hot water. No drink making facilities in the room but again we were aware of this limitation with the Budget chain so took plenty of water and soft drinks. It was a short walk from the railway station and there was a local bus that ran frequently to take us to the Festival Hall where we watched Wagners Ring Cycle, for the more energetic it is within walking distance and we chose to walk back each night which was easy. This is the closest hotel to the Festspielhalle if you are attending the Festival, however, this does mean that you are a little bit further from the centre of the town, but again walking is not a great distance and buses are available. The only quibble, and it is a minor one is that the room cleaning was not very great. The bathroom was cleaned daily, bed made, but the floor was not swept/vacuumed once in our 8 day stay. Breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff worked really hard, big thank you to all the staff, reception and the bar were 24/7 so when we arrived after midnight we were able to check in and get a drink. Would recommend."
