“Overall, the hotel has great potential, but unfortunately, it is completely untapped. The hotel has two advantages: a large pool with an ocean view and all rooms offering ocean views—of course, the higher the floor, the better the view. And that’s where the positives end. There is no service at the hotel whatsoever. Rooms are not ready on time for check-in. Contrary to the descriptions, there is no bar at the hotel. The food is „so so”, and all three meals a day are almost the same. The hotel is……

“We stayed two nights directly after arriving in Sri Lanka to relax. Due to off season there was not much going on so we had the full attention of the staff, we even once got a whole sri lankan curry for lunch for free and it was delicious. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The pool was also very clean and big enough to actually swimm. The phone number in tripadvisor isn't up to date.”

“We stayed here on our honeymoon, and was expecting a little more hospitality to be honest couldn't even get a free drink out of them 😅. They do hound you a little in the mornings for room service so don't expect a lay in at this place! The food was really good, bar slightly over priced so all inclusive would be worth it if you intend to spend most of your time at the hotel. We tended to eat out everyday and if you want real Sri lankan food with a smile go to Kamals cafe 2mins walk out of the……

“The rooms are very nice with the perfect view of the pool and ocean. There is unfortunately no swimming allowed in the ocean in front of the hotel. We found the staff a little unorganized at times but would still highly recommend this hotel. ”

“Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, als Zwischenstopp. Neues Hotel, sehr sauberes, grosses Zimmer. Crew war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider ist es doch etwas weit ausserhalb Colombo, so dass es sich als Hub für die Weiterreise nur nach Süden eignet, jedoch für Kandy nur bedingt.”

“We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The staff, Alex, was particularly very considerate. The hotel even provided us with complimentary breakfast on the first day since they felt that we came early in the morning and might not be able to go out for breakfast in time. Really nice of them! The place had a very large living space with a well-stocked kitchen and utensils. Will definitely recommend this place. The communication from the hotel was also very clear and the location markers……
