“I chose this apartment for its location primarily and it was a hit. Since we were traveling and staying for two weeks with a toddler and a new baby I was looking for it to also have an outdoor space, and it was wonderful as seen in the pictures. For personal reasons I had to change my dates a few days before my booking was coming up, the hosts had no problem to accommodate my needs. During our stay, we even had the opportunity to meet the neighbor next door and visit her garden. The neighborhood……

“Very clean property in a quiet neighborhood. Convenient shopping only minutes away (including a Costco). We would definitely stay there again.”

“The neighborhood was quiet. The space of the basement apartment was clean, and spacious. Though the floors above were crickety, I slept fairly well. ”

“Lovely cottage stay! It was cozy and quite comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with, and we arrived with snacks and a bottle of champagne-love that! It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the fall season- close to Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Nyack, and Ossining! We ended the stay by finding deer outside our window! We truly hated to leave!”

“Large comfortable home in great location with multiple views of the Hudson. Our family had a pleasant stay and would definitely return to Castle in the Sky.”

“This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again.”

“The photos of the unit were beautiful however the wear and tear on the actual property did not compare. The bathroom sink constantly leaked and because the floors were not even they stayed wet. The nightstands were broken the refrigerator would not open all the way. I also was not notified until the day of check in that the unit was on the 3rd floor and there was 2 flights of stairs just to get to the entrance to the unit.”
