This might be an okay place if you are a golfer but it is in significant need for an upgrade. The hotel is in a very good location. The room was small, the furniture was unusual and not very functional, the linens were limp and thin, the rug worn out and the bathroom faucet dripped. I reported the dripping faucet Saturday morning when we left for the day. We returned in the evening it was still dripping and I was told that they didn't do repairs on the weekend. They did offer another room which we did not accept. The staff was pleasant but did not seem to be fully informed as to what was happening.

Terra Nova Suite

We made a reservation with 2 queen beds, a living room, and a kitchen for $257.72, when we checked in, we were told our room has no stove. We were offer an efficiency suite with only one queen bed, a living room and a kitchen. I told them the listed price from hotel.com price for the efficiency suite is $144, thy refused to honor the price, we are still charged for $257.72. Even when I shown them the listed the price and description from hotel.com from the website. I don't think that's how you treat your customers. The Faucet in the kitchen is loose, the pots and pan are dirty and wore out. The bathroom counter top has a big gap at the back. The location is great, it is just not run well....

Nice view and golf course, The staff was very nice Generally, this hotel has not been updated probably since the 1970's, The bar area has the feel of a town hall, the pool area could use a power wash (lots of moss and mildew) and the food (the only place for miles) is mediocre.

The place is over priced and a bit run down to be called a resort For example, the paint is peeling off the wall in the washroom, the toilet has missing components.

If you are not a golfer, don’t bother. The resort need updating, and is literally going to the dogs, and the prices in the restaurant, the only place to eat for miles, is way over price.

Old and tired. Get rid of the pool - moldy, dirty, terrible. Asked to move rooms - old, smelly carpet and completely frozen air conditioner that was not working at all. Second room had been renovated- but a coat of paint can’t cover the leaks, cracked sink, dripping faucets, and soggy floors. People were great. Top it off - you can’t drink the water here! Our reservation was not on file but luckily they had many available rooms.

There has been a boil water advisory since July 18, yet no bottled water was provided to the guests. When asked if there would be, I was advised that there is no plan to do this.

Ok hotel

This hotel is at a golf resort. No fridge in the room. The first night wasn’t so good but we asked to be moved fir the second night. The staff are quite accommodating. The restaurant has good food but a little overpriced.

Golf Resort Motel

Nice Golf resort, but the rooms need some updating. Beds were comfortable and AC system has a bad odour. The bathroom has some peeling paint on the ceiling and a little rough and rugged. The staff are excellent and friendly and the pub in the basement of the hotel was great. Good for a night or two, but no longer. Price is above average for what you get.

Did not honour reservation

We reserved a premium queen room for two nights. When we checked in, we were given our room, which was not a premium room and there was no price adjustment. When we inquired about the room, we were told that it was not a premium, but we could change to a premium with two single beds for two nights or a queen for only one night. The restaurant was closed that evening and the rooms were extremely loud due to other patrons walking and yelling in the halls. Even the premium room we stayed in for one night was disappointing, I would not recommend this hotel.

Older...needs work.

An older facility. We stayed in an older finished room however there were some that we saw had been updated. The restaurant on site made a nice meal.

Perfect location

We didn't think we would be playing golf on a trip to Newfoundland, but Terra Nova Golf Resort offered us an opportunity to do just that! Beautiful setting and friendly people. Visiting Terra Nova National Park was a fantastic experience.
