For the adventurer in you, explore the Chesapeake with our kayaks available for rent at just $75.00 each for your entire stay. As you paddle through the shimmering waters, marvel at the stunning sunrises and panoramic bay views that paint the sky with hues of magic. Parkers Creek Bird Sanctuary awaits you just 5 miles north. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife and array of native Chesapeake Bay plants and flowers as you paddle up the creek.

Enjoy walking for miles on winding trails thru our old bay forest, located just adjacent to our property. There are eagles’ nests along the trail and abundance of other birds that will sing you a symphony to delight your senses. The sounds of frogs add to the chorus.

Nature’s Playground:

Beyond the bay, our 450-foot pier, miles of nature trails, we have an open recreation field offering endless possibilities. Weather fishing /crabbing off the pier,

Spectacular Spaces for Every Mood: I

Indulge in the warmth of two stunning stone fireplaces, hardwood floors, a mixture of beautiful antiques with comfortable sofas and reclining chairs, oriental carpets, and spacious gathering areas with breathtaking views.

The lower level is open with walls of glass surrounding two sides …. the views are breathtaking from every room. We have two separate family gathering areas on the lower level, one on the porch and the other by the stone fireplace with a 50” Roku smart screen T.V. This floor plan allows for everyone to have their space yet not feel separated from the group.

The upper level is conveniently designed as third sitting/sleeping area with another smart.TV over the fireplace. The sofa serves as a queen size bed. There is a trundle bed in this room that serves as two twin beds. This sleeping room is not private as you must walk thru this room to access the private master bedroom. Please review the pictures and make sure this is acceptable with your guests prior to booking.

The master bedroom boats a cathedral ceiling and a wall of glass, providing an uninterrupted view of the sun rising over the bay each morning.

You will love the desk in this sitting/sleeping room, perfect for your computer, if you can stop looking at the bay as it has a 6’ picture window.

The master bath is spectacular. It has an oversized floor to ceiling shower with two shower nozzles. There is a 6’ picture window in the shower with a stunning panoramic view of the Bay. Enjoy watching the sea gulls or the crab, cruise boats or shipping vessels while showering.

Enjoy an enclosed outdoor shower that has wonderful views of the bay. The front deck spans the entire length of the house. Imagine sipping wine or your morning coffee and watching the blue herons -- our local eagles -- and an assortment of other birds diving into the bay in search of their next feast. Or watching the large variety of boats traveling the bay for commerce or pleasure. This is truly the place where special memories are made.

We also have a back deck which is wonderful for morning coffee. The deck is surrounded by beautiful gardens offering an assortment of color for your enjoyment. There is a 20-year-old Crape Myrtle that graces our walkway. It starts blooming in mid-July thru August and sometimes into September. You will really enjoy the beauty of its deep blossoms as you sip your coffee. There is another tree that sits close to our deck, offering you lots of privacy, which is a favorite sanctuary for an assortment of birds. Expect to be serenade by various songs as birds chat with each other. Download a bird app and listen to the excitement of the birds around you.

This is a magical place. I'm not sure there are words to describe the charm of our warm and inviting home on the bay. The views from every room are simply breathtaking! You'll truly feel like you are on a ship overlooking a vast body of water. And the view is constantly changing.

As all our guests affirm, this is a vacation you will never forget – a magical escape that leaves an indelible mark on your heart. Book now and let the charm of our Bayfront home be the backdrop for your most cherished memories.

We provide free WIFI and linens, gas grill with a oversized charcoal grill on the beach.

I believe in the personal touch. Expect a friendly call from us after booking to address any questions or preferences. Your comfort and satisfaction my top priority.

Relaxing week.
Nice house with a great view. I don't usually get up to see the sunrises when on vacation, but it is worth it here. Nice walk on a quiet beach just steps from the house. Short drive to downtown for anything you need, restaurants, shopping, fuel, ect.. Communication with host was very easy. Everything was clean and as described. Close enough to Washington D.C. for a day trip, but far enough away for a quiet relaxing vacation.

Truly an Amazing Place
We love staying at this comfortable and spacious beachfront property. It was our second time here. Alicia is wonderful to deal with. The views from most every room are spectacular. The kitchen is big for cooking family meals and has all the equipment you will need. The bedrooms and living areas are comfortable and welcoming. The shower in the master bath has the best view ever! Our main activity is fossil hunting and the kids and adults collectively found over 50 (mostly tiny) teeth in two days. You can walk a good distance on the beach at low tide. It's truly a beautiful location. There's also a fishing pier that's fun for the kids. We had a terrible weather weekend, unfortunately, but had quite a show watching the Chesapeake tossing and turning with big waves. Despite the weather, we still made a drive to Solomon's to visit the Calvert Marine Museum, which we also love. This house is quite a find and we look forward to renting it again.
